The qualifications for voting in New York State are as follows:
• Be a U. S. citizen
• Be 18 years old by the end of this year.
• Live at your present address at least 30 days before an election.
• Not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction unless parole pardoned or restored rights of citizenship.
• Not claim the right to vote elsewhere.
